A highly versatile musician, Adam is equally at home at the piano as well as the organ, composing, arranging pieces and improvising in a range of genres from medieval to 21st century music. In 2020, he composed “Prelude in C minor” which was commissioned by pianist Vladislav Mikhalchuk. This was later transcribed for organ, cello and piano, subsequently recorded by Oclassica under the name "Legend".

This season’s highlights include recitals at National Physical Laboratory in London, St Mary’s Parish Church in Frinton, Steinway Hall, St Leonard’s Church in Seaford, Downing Place URC in Cambridge, The Kettner Society lunchtime concert at the National Liberal Club and York Unitarian Chapel. Adam will also appear with Derby Concert Orchestra in 2024 to perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.2 at Derby Cathedral, as well as recitals with cellist Yurie Lee at St Mary's Frinton and Proms at St Jude's Summer Festival.

Adam began playing the piano at the age of seven and gave his debut recital at Chopin’s birthplace at Żelazowa Wola in Poland aged ten. Since then, he has performed in some of the world’s leading concert halls across Europe and the UK. He has been recipient of the Cambridge Competitive Music Festival which led to a performance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.3 at West Road Concert Hall as well as winning the Mrs Sunderland Music Festival in Huddersfield.

In addition to performing, Adam is the Head of Keyboard at Wetherby Senior School, Assistant Artistic Director of The Chopin Society UK and part-time accompanist in the Primary Department of The Royal Academy of Music.

 

Adam completed his Bachelor of Music at York University studying with Joan Dixon. In 2019, Adam graduated from the Royal Academy of Music with a Master of Arts degree under the guidance of the late Professor Sulamita Aronovsky.
